Cy's Place | Our Beginnings

An apartment in our home

Cy's Place is currently a two-bedroom apartment in the walk-out basement of our home. Wireless internet, cable TV, and laundry facilities are available.

Main Room

The main room is equipped with a couch and two chairs, an end table and lamp as well as a floor lamp. There is a gas fireplace, a TV with a DVD player, and some kid-friendly DVDs.

Dining Area

The dining area has a table and 4 chairs as well as a play area for children and a desk for paperwork. There is also a small cabinet with toys for children.

Kitchenette

The kitchenette has an apartment-sized stove and refrigerator, a microwave, toaster, and blender. It is equipped with pots and pans along with dishes for 6 including glasses, cups, plates, bowls, and silverware. There are also other bowls and utensils available for cooking. Towels and dish cloths are provided.

Bedroom 1

This bedroom is equipped with a full-size bed, twin-bed bunk bed and a twin bed along with a bedside table and lamp.

Bedroom 2

This bedroom contains a queen bed. There is also a pack-and-play available for infants/toddlers.

Bathroom

The bathroom has a tub, shower, stool, and sink. Towels and wash cloths are available for use.

Laundry Facilities

A washer and dryer are available for guests to use.

Separate Entrance


There is a sidewalk that runs around the side of our house to the entrance to the apartment on the back side. In the back yard there is also a deck with chairs where guests can sit and enjoy the trees and a quiet neighborhood.
