The group was formed in 1993 in response to a higher call to share God's unfailing love through a combination of the musical talents and spiritual gifts He has given them.  Higher Call features the finest in contemporary, traditional and southern gospel music.

The Benson Family Singers are a family music group from Faribault, Minnesota. Peter & Rachelle, along with three of their sons, David, Aaron, and Luke, have a unique ministry consisting of barbershop, bluegrass, and gospel music. They specialize in tight, a cappella harmonies and also play a variety of instruments, including guitar, banjo, bass, violin, and mandolin. Together they have performed for many shows, festivals, fairs, churches, and private events throughout the Midwest. Today, Brad is a well-known Elvis Tribute Artist. His faith in the Lord has led him to performing Gospel Music.
